, , ,

I look up at the stars,

And I can’t help but miss you.

even though we lay under the same moon,

I can’t help but feel planets away.

You’ve taken pieces of my heart,

And you can’t be forgiven for that.

But you will always find more to take.

And I will let you.

And for the death of me I don’t know why.

All I can ask in return,

Is for you to hold me like you used too.

But I know that won’t happen,

So I will sit out on my porch,

And light my cigarettes

Until my breathe turns to smoke.
